Dr. Garvey-D'Orsaneo graduated in the top 1% of her class as Salutatorian, Presidential Scholar, and a member of the Chiropractic Honor Society Phi Tau Delta from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2005. Palmer College of Chiropractic is the oldest of the chiropractic colleges and is internationally recognized as the preeminent institution in chiropractic education.
Prior to studying at Palmer College of Chiropractic, she graduated with highest honors from Niagara University, New York in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics. Since she has been practicing chiropractic, Dr. Garvey-D'Orsaneo has kept up to date by receiving additional post-graduate training in Chiropractic Neurology and Rehabilitation for Spine and Body Stability, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care.
The doctor is certified in the Cox Flexion Distraction and Decompression Technique that specifically treats disc herniation / degeneration and spinal stenosis in cervical and lumbar spine. Dr. Garvey is an authorized provider of Graston Technique also known as Myofascial Release. Dr. Garvey-D'Orsaneo also uses Diversified, Gonstead, Activator ,Thompson, Extremity Adjustment Techniques in the office. Dr. Garvey-D'Orsaneo is currently pursuing her diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology through the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies.
